New home in Nürnberg
  • Rainer Helbing and NürnbergMesse an ideal event duo
  • Early booking discount for exhibitors until 25 March 2010
Nürnberg is the new home for the art fair europe exhibition, which takes place in 2010 from 2–4 October. The decision to move to a conveniently located, international exhibition venue is welcomed by all exhibitors and visitors. Now the interesting questions are: Where does art fair europe go from here? What will be kept, what will change? Alexander Stein, Exhibition Director at NürnbergMesse, explains: “The primary aim is to preserve the ‘spirit’ of the exhibition. Rainer Helbing – the father of art fair europe – is here to help and advise us. We will, however, refine one or two things to make the event even more attractive for exhibitors and visitors.” For example, the running time of the exhibition has been shortened and the services of international representatives are being used.

art fair europe runs for only three days in future (Saturday to Monday). “We have cancelled the Friday, the day with the least visitors. This makes the exhibition more compact for exhibitors,” says Stein. “Saturday, Sunday and especially Monday are ideal days for the exhibition. Many visitors are gallery owners, who have time to visit the exhibition on Monday because their shops are closed on this day.” The event has a new subtitle, which addresses the most important target group of visitors individually: Trade Fair for the Art Trade.

Exhibition becomes more international
The established international network of NürnbergMesse representatives invites exhibitors and visitors to art fair europe from all over Europe. Exhibition professionals are on the ground in 12 countries to help visitors organize their visit and exhibitors arrange their presence at the event.

Both German and international exhibitors clearly profit from booking early. For bookings until 25 March 2010, a square metre costs 95 euros for an in-line or corner stand and 99 euros for a head or block stand. Alexander Stein and his team at NürnbergMesse will be pleased to advise personally on all matters concerning exhibiting.
