Gallery owners and art dealers, take note! Not long now until the art fair europe. This trade fair for the art sector will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre for the first time from Saturday, 2 October, until Monday, 4October. German and international exhibitors – including a large number of market leaders – will showcase their paintings, drawings, sculptures, frames, mouldings, framing machines and accessories for the art trade. Nürnberg is the new home for the art fair europe exhibition, which takes place in 2010 from 2–4 October. The decision to move to a conveniently located, international exhibition venue is welcomed by all exhibitors and visitors. Now the interesting questions are: Where does art fair europe go from here? What will be kept, what will change? Alexander Stein, Exhibition Director at NürnbergMesse, explains: “The primary aim is to preserve the ‘spirit’ of the exhibition. Rainer Helbing – the father of art fair europe – is here to help and advise us. We will, however, refine one or two things to make the event even more attractive for exhibitors and visitors.” For example, the running time of the exhibition has been shortened and the services of international representatives are being used.
